anddrivesystems.
Note:Ifthevehicleisunabletogaintractionin
extremelysoft,drysand,switchingDSCoff
mayhelp.DSCshouldbeswitchedonagainas
soonasthedifficultyisovercome.
Ifthesystembecomespartiallyinoperablefor
anyreason,itmaynotbepossibletoselecta
specialprogram.
Ifaparticipatingvehiclesystembecomes
temporarilyinoperable,theGeneralprogram
willbeautomaticallyselected.Oncethesystem
returnstonormaloperation,thepreviously
activeprogramwillbereactivatedunlessthe
ignitionhasbeenturnedoffinthemeantime.
Ifthesandtobecrossedisdamp/wet,and
sufficientlydeeptocausethewheelstosink
intothesurface,theMud-Rutsprogramshould
beused.

Ifyoutrytoselectaninappropriatespecial
programme,therelevantindicatorwillflash
amberandtheMessagecentrewillprovide
furtherinformation.Iftheappropriateactionis
nottakenwithin60seconds,thewarningswill
ceaseandtheMessagecentrewillshowthe
activeprogram.
Thisprogramisassociatedwitha
drivingstyle,ratherthanatypeof
terrainandoptimisestraction,
handlinganddriveability,for
maximumfeedbackand
responsiveness.Selectthis
programtoexploitthevehicle’s
fullon-roadpotential.
Ifthesystembecomescompletelyinoperable,
allofthespecialprogramindicatorswillbe
switchedoffandarelevantmessagewillbe
displayedintheMessagecentre.

engagedforsomeTerrainResponseprograms.
