TheLanedeparturewarningsystemusesthe
forwardfacingcamera,locatedinthebaseof
therearviewmirror.
TheLanedeparturewarningsystemis
adrivingaidonly.Itremainsthe
driver'sresponsibilitytodrivewith
duecareandattention,inamanner
whichissafeforthevehicle,its
occupantsandtheotherroadusers.
Thedrivershouldstillobserveall
otherroadsigns,roadmarkingsand
situationsthatarenotdetectedor
recognisedbytheLanedeparture
warningsystem.
Note:Makesurethewindscreenareainfront
oftherearviewmirroriskeptcleanandfreeof
debris,forexample,mud,snow,ice,etc.
Ifthevehiclecrosseseitherofthelane
markingsthatitistravellingwithin,without
activationoftheappropriateindicator,thenthe
Lanedeparturewarningsystemwillalertthe
driverviaoneofthemethodsbelow:
Steeringwheelvibration(haptic
feedback).
GraphicaldisplaysintheMessagecentre.
Note:TheLanedeparturewarningsystemwill
onlyprovidewarningstothedriver.Itwillnot
assistinchangingthedirectionofthevehicle
oroperateanyofthevehicle'ssystems.
Note:TheLanedeparturewarningsystemwill
notdetectunmarkededgesoftheroad.
ThesensitivityoftheLanedeparturewarning
systemcanbeadjustedbetweenHIGHor
NORMALviatheVehicleSet-upmenuinthe
Instrumentpanelmenu.
WhensetatNORMALsensitivity,theLane
departurewarningsystemwillsuppressany
warnings,ifdriverinterventionisdetected,as
listedbelow:
Pressthebuttontodisable/enabletheLane
departurewarningsystem.
Whenenabled,anindicatorlampwillilluminate
intheMessagecentretoconfirm.Thestatusof
thesystemisalsoshownbythechangesofthe
laneiconcoloursandthevehiclepositionicon
withintheindicatorlamp.
