maintainorreducethevehiclespeed.
Driverinterventionmayberequired.
Cruisecontrolwillalsobecancelledifthe
brakepedalispressed,thegearselectoris
movedtoneutral,orifHDCorDynamic
StabilityControl(DSC)areactivated.
4. Presstodecreasethesetspeed.
Note:Cruisecontrolisnotavailablewhen
usingHillDescentControl(HDC)orwhena
TerrainResponsespecialprogramhasbeen
selected,exceptfortheGrass/Gravel/Snow
program.
Thesystemisoperatedbycontrolsmounted
onthesteeringwheel.Thedrivercanalso
interveneatanytimebyuseofthebrakeor
acceleratorpedals.
Note:Iftheacceleratorpedalispressedto
overrideCruisecontrolforaperiodofmore
than5minutes,Cruisecontrolwillbe
cancelled.
Note:Donotusecruisecontrolwhendriving
off-road.

thesetspeed.Thecruisecontrolwarning
lampwillilluminatetoconfirmcruise
controlisoperational.See46,CRUISE
CONTROL(GREEN).
Thecruisingspeedcanalsobeincreased
usingtheaccelerator.Whenthedesired
speedisreached,pressthebuttontoset
andmaintainthenewspeedandthen
releasetheaccelerator.
Note:Cruisecontrolcanonlybeengaged
atspeedsabove30km/h(18mph).

RESshouldbeusedonlyifthe
driverisawareofthesetspeedand
intendstoreturntoit.
