checkedregularlyusinganaccurate
pressuregaugewhenthetyresare
cold.
TPMScanNOTregisterdamagetoa
tyre.Regularlychecktheconditionof
yourtyres,especiallyifthevehicleis
drivenoff-road.
Wheninflatingtyres,careshouldbe
takentoavoidbendingordamagingthe
TPMSvalves.Alwaysconfirmthe
correctalignmentoftheinflationhead
tothevalvestem.
WheelsfittedwithTPMScanbevisually
identifiedbytheexternalmetallocknutand
valve(1).AllLandRovernon-TPMSwheels
havearubbervalvefitted(2).
Note:Non-approvedaccessoriesmayinterfere
withthesystem.Ifthisoccurs,TYRE
PRESSUREMONITORINGFAULTisdisplayed
intheMessagecentre.
Note:Ateachtyrechange,aspecialservicekit
isrequiredforeachTPMSvalve.
Note:DifferenttypesoftyremayaffectTPMS
performance.Alwaysrenewtyresin
accordancewithrecommendations.
Tyrepressuresshouldbecheckedregularly
whenthetyresarecoldandadjustedas
necessary.ThepresenceofTPMSdoesnot
removetheneedtochecktyrepressuresas
partofavehiclesafetycheck.See231,TYRE

TPMSconstantlymonitorsthetyrepressurein
eachwheel,includingthefullsizespare.
Temporaryusesparetyresarenotmonitored.

Thetyrepressurewarninglampilluminates
when1ormoreofthetyresaresignificantly
under-inflated,accompaniedwithamessagein

themtotherecommendedpressure.
TPMSalsomonitorsthefullsizesparetyre

illuminationofthewarninglamp.
