afterthevehiclehasbeenwashed,thismaybe
duetowaxorotherresidue.Shouldthisoccur,
cleantheglasswiththerecommendedLand
Roverscreencleaningpaste.See252,

Rotatethecollartoadjustthetimedelay
betweenwipeswhenposition(1 )is
selected.Thehigherthesettingthemore
frequentlywipesoccur.
Note:Thewindscreenwillnolongerbewiped
effectivelyandtheautomaticrainsensing
functionwilldegradeifthewipersbecome
worn.Alwaysreplacewornordamagedwiper
bladesassoonaspossible.Thewipersservice
positionwillmovethewiperstoallowwiper
bladereplacement.See203,WIPERS

Note:Wipefrequencywillincreasewith
vehiclespeed.

Note:Ifthewiperbladesbecomestuckor
jammed,anelectroniccut-outwilltemporarily
haltthewiper'soperation.Ifthishappens,
switchoffthewipersandvehicleignition,when
safetodoso.Clearanyobstructionsandfree
thewiperblades,beforeattemptingtoswitch
ontheignition.

operatethefrontwashersandwipers.The
wiperswilloperatefor2furtherwipesafter
thestalkisreleased.Afterafewseconds,a
dripwipewillclearanyresidualwasher
fluidfromthewindscreen.Ifmorewasher
fluidisrequired,pullandholdthestalk
position.
RAINSENSOR
Note:Thefrontwiperswillnotoperate
whilethebonnetisopen.
Therainsensor(iffitted)ismountedonthe
insideofthewindscreen,behindtherearview
mirror.Thesensorisabletodetectthe
presenceandamountofwateronthe
windscreenandautomaticallyactivatethe
windscreenwipersaccordingly.
