anypartofthebodycanresultin
seriousinjury.
Beforeclosingawindowortheroof
blind,makesurenooccupantshave
anypartoftheirbodyinaposition
whereitcouldbetrapped.Evenwith
ananti-trapsystemdeathorserious
injurycouldoccur.
Anti-trapprotectionwillstopwindoworroof
blindmovementifanobstructionorresistance
isdetected.Checkthewindoworroofblindand
itsapertureandremoveanyobstructions(e.g.
ice,etc.).
Ifitisstillnecessarytoraisethewindow,the
overrideprocedureisasfollows:

Attempttoclosethewindow,anti-trapwill
preventclosureandlowerthewindow
slightly.
Withintensecondsattempttoraisethe
windowagain,anti-trapwillprevent
closureandlowerthewindowslightly.
Attempttoclosethewindowforathird
time,thistimeholdtheswitchintheclose
position.Holduntilclosed.
Note: Ifthisprocedurefailstoremovethe
blockage,thewindowoperationmayneedto
bereset.
