undersideoftheadaptor.Ifareplacement
adaptorisrequired,youwillbeaskedtoquote
thisnumber.Makesurethenumberis
recordedandkeptsafe,butshouldnotbekept
withthevehicle.
Takecarewhenlooseningthewheel
nuts.Thewheelbracemayslipoffif
notproperlyattachedandthewheel
nutsmaygivewaysuddenly.Either
unexpectedmovement,maycausean
injury.

Insertthewheelnutadaptorintothe
lockingwheelnut,makingsureitisfully
engaged.
Takecarewhenliftingthesparewheel
andremovingthepuncturedwheel.
Thewheelsareheavyandcancause
injuriesifnothandledcorrectly.
Locatethewheelbraceovertheadaptor
andunscrewthewheelnuthalfaturn
counter-clockwise.
Donotstartorruntheenginewhilethe
vehicleissupportedonlybyajack.
Afterraisingthevehicleonthejack,
removethelockingwheelnut.
Jackupthevehicleusingonlythe
jackingpointsdescribed,ordamageto
thevehiclecouldoccur.
Note:Afterusestorethewheelnutadaptor
correctlyinthetoolkit.
Note:Yourvehiclemaybefittedwithatilt
sensorwhichactivatesthealarmifthevehicle
istiltedinanydirectionafterithasbeenlocked.
Tolockthedoorswhilechangingthewheel,
andavoidthealarmactivating,thetiltsensor
canbetemporarilydisabled.See16,TILT
SENSOR.
WHEELCHANGING
Beforeraisingthevehicleorchangingawheel,
makesureyoureadandcomplywiththe
followingwarnings:
Makesurethejackisonfirmlevel
ground.
Beforerasingthevehicle,usethewheelnut
bracetoslackenthewheelnutshalfaturn
counter-clockwise.
Neverplaceanythingbetweenthejack
andtheground,orthejackandthe
vehicle.
Positionthejackfromthesideofthe
vehicle,in-linewiththeappropriate
jackingpoint.
Donotattempttoraisethevehicle
unlessthejackheadisfullyengaged
inthejackingpoint.Onlyjackthe
vehicleusingtheapprovedjacking
points.
WARNING-THATNOPERSON
SHOULDPLACEANYPORTIONOF
THEIRBODYUNDERAVEHICLETHAT
ISSUPPORTEDBYAJACK.
