manoeuvringspaceforreverseparking,the
spacewillberejected,evenifthedriver
believesthespaceislargeenoughtoparkthe
vehicle.Thedriverretainstheoptiontoswitch
offtheParkassistandtoattempttheparking
manoeuvremanually.
2. Ashortconfirmationtoneisgivenwhena
suitablespaceisfoundandthemessage
Spacefoundwillbedisplayed.Next,the
messageDriveforwardorStop!and
releasewheelwillbegiven,dependingon
thevehicle’scurrentposition.

Whenthevehicleisatastandstill,an
instructiontoSelectRandawaitnext
instructionwillbegiven.TheParkassist
systemwillthentakecontrolofthe
vehicle’ssteering.Thesteeringwheelmust
bereleased.Releasethefootbrake
carefullytomovethevehicleslowlyinto
theparkingspace.Followtheinstructions
intheMessagecentre.
PARKASSIST
Parkassistisanaidtoparkingintightparking
baysorspaces.Toactivate,pressthePark
assistbuttonuntiltherequiredoptionis
selected.
Thedrivermustmaintainfull

TheParkassistdisplaywillappearinthe
Messagecentre,withaSearching
message.AllParkassistmessagesare
displayedintheMessagecentre.Take
actionwhenthetextoraudioalertsan
instruction.
controloftheacceleratorandbrake
throughouttheparkingmanoeuvre.
Note:Ifthesteeringwheelismanually
turnedduringtheparkingmanoeuvre,Park
assistwilldeactivate.
Note:Ifthevehicle’sspeedexceeds5km/h

ofparkedvehicles/obstaclesinwhichthe
vehicleistopark.
Whentheparkingmanoeuvreiscomplete,
themessageSTOP!Parkassistfinished
willbedisplayedandtheParkassist

vehiclespeedislessthan30km/h(18
mph).WhenParkassistisactivated,a
previousspacemayalreadyhavebeen
located.Toobtainapreviousspaceonthe
otherside,signalaturninthatdirection.
