trapitemsorbodyparts.
Makesurethereisaminimumspaceof

m(3ft)aboveandattherearofthe
vehiclebeforeoperatingthetailgate.
Insufficientopeningspacemayresultin
damagetothevehicle.
Donotoperatethetailgateifacycle
rackisfittedtothetailgate.Removeany
cyclesand/orracksbeforeoperating
thetailgate.

Tailgaterelease:Liftthetailgatetoopen.
Note:Thetailgateexternalreleaseswitch
willoperateifalldoorsareunlockedand
theautomatictransmissiongearselectoris
inthePark(P)position.Ifthegearselector
isintheNeutral(N)position,theswitch
willonlyoperateifallofthedoorsare
unlocked,andtheignitionisin
Conveniencemodeorswitchedoff.The
switchwillnotoperateifthegearselector
isinanyotherposition.
Thetailgatecanalsobereleasedusingthe
