Unsnap and rem ove the black boot cover. This cover
FREEDOM TOP 3– PIECE MODULAR HARD TOP
shou ld be discard ed. It was intend ed as a protective
cover for ship ping only.

NOTE: A visu al instru ction sheet is enclosed in the dual
top wrap .

The hard top is not design ed to carry any addi-
tion al load s such as roof rack s, spare tires, build -
ing, huntin g, or camping supplies, and/or luggage,
etc. Also, it was not design ed as a stru ctural
member of the veh icle, and thus cannot prop erly
carry any addition al load s oth er than environ men-
tal (rain , snow, etc.).

Remove the swing gate bar (black metal bar for
bottom of rear wind ow) located in the soft top and set
asid e.
NOTE: Be sure the wire harness in the right rear corner
is not tangled in the soft top bow s before you lift the top .

Put up the soft top . Refer to “Soft Top — Putting Up
the Soft Top” in this section.
