The time setting will increase each time you press the
Clock Setting Procedure
button. Holding either button in will fast forw ard the
setting.
The GPS receiver used in this system is synchronized to
the time data being transm itted by the GPS satellite. The
satellites’ clock is Greenw ich Mean Time (GMT). This is
the world wide stand ard for time. This makes the sys-
tem ’s clock very accurate once the approp riate time zone
and daylight savings inform ation is set.

If no changes are made within 5 second s of accessing
the Setu p screen, the screen will time out and you will be
taken to the last mode.
NOTE: To reset the clock, select the approp riate time
zone and press ENTER. The clock will revert to the
accurate time based on the time zone you selected .
To manu ally set the clock, change the time zone, or
change daylight savings inform ation, use a ballp oint pen
or similar object to press the hou r (H) or minu te (M)
buttons on the rad io. The Setu p screen appears.
