UNDERSTANDING THE FEATURES OF YOUR VEHICLE
SOFT TOP (4 DOOR MODELS)
If the tem peratu re is below 72°F (24°C) and / or the top
has been folded down for a period of time, the top will
appear to have shru nk when you raise it, making it
difficult to put up. This is caused by a natu ral contraction
of the vinyl coating on the fabric top .
CAUTIO N!

The soft top is not design ed to carry any addition al
load s such as roof rack s, spare tires, build ing,
huntin g, or camping supplies, and/or luggage, etc.
Also, it was not design ed as a stru ctural member of
the veh icle, and thus cannot prop erly carry any
addition al load s oth er than environ mental (rain ,
snow, etc.).
Place the vehicle in a warm area. Pull stead ily on the top
fabric. The vinyl will stretch back to its original size and
the top can then be snap ped into place. If tem peratu re is
41°F
(5°C) or below, do not attem pt to put the top down
or roll the rear or sid e curtain s.
