Key-In-Ignition Reminder
Opening the driver’s door when the key is in the ignition,
sou nd s a signal to rem ind you to rem ove the key.
WARN ING!
Leavin g child ren in a veh icle unatten ded is danger-
ous for a number of reason s. A child or oth ers could
be injured . Child ren should be warn ed not to tou ch
the park ing brak e, brak e pedal, or the gear selector
lever. Do not leave the keys in the ign ition . A child
could operate power windows, oth er controls, or
move the veh icle.

STEERING WHEEL LOCK — IF EQUIPPED
Your vehicle may be equ ipped with a passive steering
wheel lock (manu al transm ission only). This lock pre-
vents steering the vehicle withou t the ignition key. If the
steering wheel is moved a half turn in either direction
and the key is not in the ignition, the steering wheel will
lock.
To Manually Lock the Steering Wheel
CAUTIO N!
With the engine running, rotate the steering wheel 1/ 2
revolu tion from straight ahead position, turn off the
engine and rem ove the key. Rotate the steering wheel
slightly in both directions until the lock engages.
An unlock ed veh icle is an invitation to thieves.
Alw ays rem ove the key from the ign ition , and lock
all doors when leavin g the veh icle unatten ded.
