level at regu lar intervals. Fill the reservoir with wind -
shield washer solvent (not rad iator antifreeze) and oper-
ate the system for a few second s to flush out the resid ual
water.
The defroster will autom atically turn off after abou t ten
minu tes. For five more minu tes of operation, press the
switch again. To prevent excessive battery drain, use the
defroster only when the engine is operating.
Rear Window Defroster — If Equipped
The push-bu tton is located on
the bottom right side of the
blow er control knob. Press
this button to turn on the rear
wind ow defroster, and the
optional electric rem ote con-
trol heated mirrors. An amber
light show s that the defroster
is on.

CAUTIO N!
Use care when wash ing the insid e of the rear window
to preven t damage to heatin g elem ents. Use a soft
cloth and a mild wash ing solu tion , wiping parallel to
the heatin g elem ents. Also, keep all objects a safe
distan ce from the window to preven t damagin g the
heatin g elem ents.
