AM or FM Button
Supported Media (Disc Types)
Switches the Radio to the Radio mode.
The MP3 file record ing media supported by the rad io are
CDDA, CD-R, CD-RW, MP3, and CDDA+MP3.
RND Button (Ran dom Play Button )
Press this button while the CD is playing to activate
Rand om Play. This featu re plays the selections on the
compact disc in rand om ord er to provid e an interesting
change of pace.
Supported Medium Form ats (File System s)
The medium form ats supported by the rad io are ISO 9660
Level 1 and Level 2 and inclu des the Joliet extension.
When read ing discs record ed using form ats other than 4
ISO 9660 Level 1 and Level 2, the rad io may fail to read
files prop erly and may be unable to play the file nor-
mally. UDF and Apple HFS form ats are not supported .
Press the right SEEK button to move to the next ran-
domly selected track.
Press the RND button a second time to stop Rand om
Play.
The rad io uses the follow ing limits for file system s:

Notes On Playing MP3 Files
The rad io can play MP3 files; how ever, accep table MP3
file record ing media and form ats are limited . When
writing MP3 files, pay attention to the follow ing restric-
tions.
Maxim um nu mber of folders (The rad io display of file
nam es and folder nam es is limited . For large nu mbers
of files and / or folders, the rad io may be unable to
display the file nam e and folder nam e and will assign
