Research has show n that seat belts save lives, and that
they can red uce the seriou sness of injuries in a collision.
Some of the worst injuries hap pen when peop le are
throw n from the vehicle. Seat belts red uce the possibility
of ejection and the risk of injury caused by striking the
insid e of the vehicle. Everyon e in a motor vehicle shou ld
be belted at all times to red uce or prevent injuries.
