Note:TheCar2Usystemallowsforthreedevicestobeprogrammed.If
youneedtochangeorreplaceanyofthethreedevicesafterithasbeen
initiallyprogrammed,itisnecessarytoerasethecurrentsettingsusing
theErasingtheCar2UHomeAutomationSystembuttonsprocedure
andthenprogrammingallofthedevicesbeingused.
Fixedcodeprogramming
Note:DonotprogramtheCar2Usystemwiththevehicleinthegarage.
Makesurethatyourkeyisonandengineoffwhileprogrammingthe
transmitter.
1.
ToprogramunitswithfixedcodeDIPswitches,youwillneedthe
garagedoorhand-heldtransmitter,paperandapenorpencil.
2.
Openthebatterycoverandrecordtheswitchsettingsfromleftto
rightforall8to12switches.Usethefigurebelow:
Whenaswitchisintheup,on,or+position,circle“L.”
Whenaswitchisinthemiddle,neutral,or0position,circle“M.”
Whenaswitchisinthedown,off,or–position,circle“R.”
