Note:Donotleaveaduplicatecodedkeyinthevehicle.Always
takeyourkeysandlockalldoorswhenleavingthevehicle.
Anti-theft indicator
Theanti-theftindicatorislocatedintheinstrumentpanelcluster.
•
Whentheignitionisoff,the
indicatorwillflashonceeverytwo
secondstoindicatethe
SecuriLocksystemisfunctioning
asatheftdeterrent.
•
Whentheignitionison,theindicatorwillglowforthreesecondsto
indicatenormalsystemfunctionality(IKTequippedvehiclesonly).
IfaproblemoccurswiththeSecuriLocksystem,theindicatorwillflash
rapidlyorglowsteadilywhentheignitionisintheonposition.Ifthis
occurs,turntheignitionoffthenbacktoontomakesuretherewasno
electronicinterferencewiththeprogrammedkey.Ifthevehicledoesn’t
start,trytostartitwiththe2ndprogrammedkeyandifsuccessful
contactyourauthorizeddealershipforkeyreplacement.Iftheindicator
stillflashesrapidlyorglowssteadily,thevehiclewillnotstart,contact
yourauthorizeddealerassoonaspossibleforservice(IKTequipped
vehiclesonly).
Automatic arming
Thevehicleisarmedimmediatelyafterswitchingtheignitiontotheoff
position.
Thetheftindicatorwillflashevery
twosecondstoactasatheft
deterrentwhenthevehicleis
armed.
Automatic disarming
Thevehicleisdisarmedimmediatelyaftertheignitionisturnedon.
IfequippedwithIKTs,thetheftindicatorwillilluminateforthree
secondsandthengoout.Ifthetheftindicatorstaysonforanextended
periodoftimeorflashesrapidly,contactyourauthorizeddealerassoon
aspossible.
