padatthesametimetolockthe
doors(driver’sdoormustbe
closed).
Thereisa20secondcountdown
whenanyoftheaboveactionsoccur
beforethevehiclebecomesarmed.
Eachdoor,thehoodorthetrunkis
armedindividually,andifanyare
open,theymustbeclosedforthe
systemtoenterthe20second
countdown.
Theturnsignallampswillflashonce
whenalldoors,thehoodorthetrunkareclosedindicatingthevehicleis
lockedandenteringthe20secondcountdown.
Disarming the system
Youcandisarmthesystembyanyofthefollowingactions:

Unlockthedoorsbyusingyourtransmitter.
Unlockthedoorsbyusingyourkeylessentrypad.
TurnignitiontotheonpositionwithavalidprogrammedSecuriLock™
keyorintegratedkeyheadtransmitter(IKT).
•
Ifequippedwithintelligentaccesskey,unlockthedriver’sdoorwitha
key.Turnthekeytowardtherearofthevehicletomakesurethe
alarmdisarms.
Pressingthepowerdoorunlockcontrolwithinthe20secondpre-armed
modewillreturnthevehicletoadisarmedstate.
Ifequippedwithintegratedkeyheadtransmitter(IKT),ifusingakeyin
thedriver’sdoortounlockthevehicle,achimewillsoundandthe
messagecenterwilldisplayTOSTOPALARMSTARTVEHICLEwhen
youopenthedoor.Youwillhave12secondstodisarmthealarmsystem
usinganyoftheactionsabove,otherwisethealarmwilltrigger.
Triggeringtheanti-theftsystem
Thearmedsystemwillbetriggeredif:

Anydoor,thehoodorthetrunkisopenedwithoutusingthedoorkey,
keypad,integratedkeyheadtransmitterorintelligentaccesskey.

TurntheignitiononwithaninvalidSecuriLock௡keyorIKT(if
equipped).
