Afterthat,iftheriskofcollision
furtherincreasesafterthewarning
light,thebrakesupportprepares
thebrakesystemforrapidbraking.
Thismaybeapparenttothedriver.
However,thesystemwillnot
automaticallyactivatethebrakes.
Thevehiclewillnotstopunlessthedriverpressesthebrakepedal.Ifthe
brakepedalispressedthenbrakingisimplementedwithfullbrake
function,eveniftheforceonthebrakepedalislight.
Thecollisionwarningsystemisactiveatspeedsaboveapproximately

mph(8km/h).
