ThiswillenabletheBelt-Minder௡featureforthatseatingpositionifit
iscurrentlydisabled.Asconfirmation,thesafetybeltwarninglightwill
flashfourtimespersecondforthreeseconds,followedbythree
secondswiththelightoff,thenfollowedbythesafetybeltwarning
lightflashingfourtimespersecondforthreesecondsagain.
AIRBAG SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM  (SRS)
Theairbagsupplementalrestraintsystem(SRS)isdesignedtoworkin
conjunctionwiththesafetybeltstohelpprotectthedriverandfront
outboardpassengerfromcertainupperbodyinjuries.Theterm
“supplementalrestraint”meanstheairbagsareintendedasasupplement
tothesafetybelts.Airbagsalonecannotprotectaswellasairbagsplus
safetybeltsinimpactsforwhichtheairbagsaredesignedtodeploy,and
airbagsdonotofferanyprotectionincrashesforwhichtheydonot
deploy.
