youroptionpackage.
Storage compartment
Thestoragecompartmentmaybe
usedtostoreapairofsunglasses.
Pressthereleaseareaontherear
edgeofthebindoortoopenthe
storagecompartment.Thedoorwill
opentothefullopenposition.
ELECTRONIC COMPASS (IF EQUIPPED)
Thecompassheadingisdisplayedinthecenterintegrateddisplay(CID).
Thecompassreadingmaybeaffectedwhenyoudrivenearlarge
buildings,bridges,powerlinesandpowerfulbroadcastantenna.Magnetic
ormetallicobjectsplacedin,onornearthevehiclemayalsoaffect
compassaccuracy.
Usually,whensomethingaffectsthecompassreadings,thecompasswill
correctitselfafterafewdaysofoperatingyourvehicleinnormal
conditions.Ifthecompassstillappearstobeinaccurate,amanual
calibrationmaybenecessary.RefertoCompasscalibration
adjustment.
Mostgeographicareas(zones)haveamagneticnorthcompasspointthat
variesslightlyfromthenortherlydirectiononmaps.Thisvariationisfour
degreesbetweenadjacentzonesandwillbecomenoticeableasthe
vehiclecrossesmultiplezones.Acorrectzonesettingwilleliminatethis
error.RefertoCompasszoneadjustment.
