Turntheignitionfromofftoon.Keeptheignitiononforatleastthree
seconds,butnomorethan10seconds.

Turntheignitionoffandremovethefirstcodedkeyfromthe
ignition.
4.
Afterthreesecondsbutwithintensecondsofturningtheignitionoff,
insertthesecondpreviouslycodedkeyintotheignition.
5.
Turntheignitionfromofftoon.Keeptheignitiononforatleastthree
seconds,butnomorethan10seconds.
6.
Turntheignitionoffandremovethesecondpreviouslyprogrammed
codedkeyfromtheignition.
7.
Afterthreesecondsbutwithin20secondsofturningtheignitionoff
andremovingthepreviouslyprogrammedcodedkey,insertthenew
unprogrammedkey(newkey/valetkey)intotheignition.
8.
Turntheignitionfromofftoon.Keeptheignitiononforatleastsix
seconds.
9.
Removethenewlyprogrammedcodedkeyfromtheignition.
Ifthekeyhasbeensuccessfullyprogrammeditwillstartthevehicle’s
engineandwilloperatetheremoteentrysystem(ifthenewkeyisan
IntegratedKeyheadTransmitter).Thetheftindicatorlightwillilluminate
forthreesecondsandthengoouttoindicatesuccessfulprogramming.
Ifthekeywasnotsuccessfullyprogrammed,itwillnotstartyour
vehicle’sengineand/orwillnotoperatetheremoteentryfeatures.The
theftindicatorlightmayflashonandoff.Wait20secondsandyoumay
repeatSteps1through8.Iffailurerepeats,bringyourvehicletoyour
authorizeddealertohavethenewkey(s)programmed.
Toprogramadditionalnewunprogrammedkey(s),wait20secondsand
thenrepeatthisprocedurefromStep1.

Programmingspareintelligentaccesskeys(ifequipped)
Youmusthavetwopreviouslyprogrammedintelligentaccesskeysinside
thevehicleandthenewunprogrammedintelligentaccesskeysreadily
accessible.Iftwopreviouslyprogrammedkeysarenotavailable,you
musttakeyourvehicletoyourauthorizeddealertohavethespare
key(s)programmed.
