A/C:Presstoactivate/deactivateairconditioning.Usewith
recirculatedairtoimprovecoolingperformanceandefficiency.A/C
engagesautomaticallyinMAXA/C,
(defrost)
and
(floor/defrost).
5.
AUTO:Presstoengageautomatictemperaturecontrol.Selectthe
desiredtemperatureusingthetemperaturecontrol.Thesystemwill
automaticallydeterminefanspeed,airflowlocation,A/Conoroff,and
outsideorrecirculatedair,toheatorcoolthevehicletoreachthe
desiredtemperature.
6.
MAXA/C:Distributesrecirculatedairthroughtheinstrumentpanel
ventstocoolthevehicle.Thisre-coolingoftheinteriorairismore
economicalandefficient.Recirculatedairmayalsohelpreduce
undesirableodorsfromenteringthevehicle.PresstheMAXA/Cbutton
againfornormalA/Coperation.
7.
Recirculatedair:Presstoactivate/deactivateairrecirculationin
thevehicle.Recirculatedairmayreducetheamountoftimeneededto
cooldowntheinteriorofthevehicleandmayalsohelpreduceundesired
odorsfromreachingtheinteriorofthevehicle.Recirculatedairengages
automaticallywhenMAXA/Cisselectedorcanbeengagedmanuallyin
anyairflowmodeexcept
(defrost).Whentheignitionswitchis
turnedoffandbackon,theclimatesystemwillreturntotherecirculated
airmodeonlyiftheA/CbuttonLEDisilluminatedandtheair
distributionselectioniseither
(panel)or
(panel/floor).
8.
Passengerheatedseat(ifequipped):Presstocontrolthe
passengerheatedseat.RefertoSeatingintheSeatingandSafety
Restraintschapterformoreinformation.
9.
PASSTEMP:Presstoengage/disengageseparatepassengerside
temperaturecontrol.Turntoincrease/decreasetheairtemperatureon
thepassengersideofthevehicle.Therecommendedinitialsettingis
between72°F(22°C)and75°F(24°C),thenadjustforcomfort.The
passengersidetemperaturesettingwillappearintheupperrightcorner
ofthedisplay.
10.
Passengercooledseat(ifequipped):Presstocontrolthe
passengercooledseat.RefertoSeatingintheSeatingandSafety
Restraintschapterformoreinformation.
11.
Drivercooledseat(ifequipped):Presstocontrolthedriver
cooledseat.RefertoSeatingintheSeatingandSafetyRestraints
chapterformoreinformation.
