system.Thisallowstheaudiofroma
portablemusicplayertobeplayed
throughthevehiclespeakerswith
highfidelity.Toachieveoptimal
performance,pleaseobservethe
followinginstructionswhen
LINE IN
attachingyourportablemusicdevicetotheaudiosystem.
Ifyourvehicleisequippedwithanavigationsystem,refertoAuxiliary
inputjacksectionintheAudiofeatureschapterofyourNavigation
Systemsupplement.
Requiredequipment:

Anyportablemusicplayerdesignedtobeusedwithheadphones
2.
Anaudioextensioncablewithstereomale1/8in.(3.5mm)
connectorsateachend
Toplayyourportablemusicplayerusingtheauxiliaryinputjack:
1.
Beginwiththevehicleparkedandtheradioturnedoff.
2.
Ensurethatthebatteryinyourportablemusicplayerisneworfully
chargedandthatthedeviceisturnedoff.
3.
ofyourplayerandtheotherendoftheaudioextensioncabletotheAIJ
inyourvehicle.
Attachoneendoftheaudioextensioncabletotheheadphoneoutput

Turntheradioon,usingeitheratunedFMstationoraCDloadedinto

Turntheportablemusicplayeronandadjustthevolumeto1/2the
volume.

PressAUXonthevehicleradiorepeatedlyuntilLINE,LINEINor
SYNCLINEINappearsinthedisplay.
Youshouldhearaudiofromyourportablemusicplayer,althoughitmay
below.
7.
