(vehiclesexportedoutsidetheUSandCanadamaynothaveaTire
Label).Lookfor“THECOMBINEDWEIGHTOFOCCUPANTSAND
CARGOSHOULDNEVEREXCEEDXXXkgORXXXlb.”for
maximumpayload.ThepayloadlistedontheTireLabelisthemaximum
payloadforthevehicleasbuiltbytheassemblyplant.Ifanyaftermarket
orauthorized-dealerinstalledequipmenthasbeeninstalledonthe
vehicle,theweightoftheequipmentmustbesubtractedfromthe
payloadlistedontheTireLabelinordertodeterminethenewpayload.
WARNING:Theappropriateloadingcapacityofyourvehiclecan
belimitedeitherbyvolumecapacity(howmuchspaceis
available)orbypayloadcapacity(howmuchweightthevehicleshould
carry).Onceyouhavereachedthemaximumpayloadofyourvehicle,
donotaddmorecargo,evenifthereisspaceavailable.Overloadingor
improperlyloadingyourvehiclecancontributetolossofvehicle
controlandvehiclerollover.
