Pushbuttonstart:Yourvehicleisequippedwithapushbuttonstart
system,whichallowsyoutostartyourvehiclewithoutusingakey.To
operatethepushbuttonstartsystemandstartyourvehicle,yourIAkey
mustbepresentinsidethevehicle,eitherinthepassengercompartment
orinthetrunk.RefertoPushbuttonstartintheDrivingchapter.
Unlocking the doors/two stage unlock
1.
Press
andreleasetounlockthedriver’sdoor.
Note:Theinteriorlampsandparkinglampswillilluminate.
2.
Press
andreleaseagainwithinthreesecondstounlockallthe
doors.
Theremoteentrysystemactivatestheilluminatedentryfeature;this
featureturnsonthelampsfor25secondsoruntiltheignitionisturned
on.
Thebatterysaverfeaturewillturnoffthelamps10minutesafterthe
ignitionisturnedoff.
Twostageunlockingmaybedisabledorre-enabledbysimultaneously
pressingthe
and
controlsonthetransmitterforfourseconds
(disablingtwostageunlockallowsallvehicledoorstounlock
simultaneously).Theparkinglampswillilluminatetwicetoindicatethat
two-stageunlockwasenabledordisabled.
IfequippedwithIAkey,whentwostageunlockingisdisabled,intelligent
accessatthedriver’sdoorresultsinanunlockofalldoors(notjustthe
driverdoor).
Openingfrontwindowsandmoonroof(ifequipped)
Youcanopenthevehicle’swindows,and(ifequipped)ventthemoon
roofbyusingthe
controlonthetransmitter.RefertoPower
windowsintheDriverControlschapterformoreinformation.
Locking the doors
1.
Press
andreleasetolockallthedoors.Theparkinglampswill
illuminate.
2.
Press
andreleaseagainwithinthreesecondstoconfirmthatall
thedoorsareclosed.Note:Thedoorswilllockagain,thehornwillchirp
andtheturnlampswillilluminateifallthedoorsandtrunkareclosed.
Note:Ifanydoororthetrunkisnotclosed,thehornwillchirptwice
andtheturnlampswillnotilluminate.
