Turnonthelowbeamheadlampstoilluminatethewallorscreenand
openthehood.
Toseeaclearerlightpatternforadjusting,youmaywanttoblockthe
lightfromoneheadlampwhileadjustingtheother.
Forvehicleswithhalogenheadlamps:
Onthewallorscreenyouwill
observeaflatzoneofhighintensity
lightlocatedatthetopoftheright
handportionofthebeampattern.If
thetopedgeofthehighintensity
lightzoneisnotatthehorizontal
referenceline,theheadlampwill
needtobeadjusted.
ForvehicleswithHIDheadlamps:
Thereisadistinctcut-off(change
fromlighttodark)intheleft
portionofthebeampattern.The
topedgeofthiscut-offshouldbe
positionedtwoinches(50.8mm)
belowthehorizontalreferenceline.
4.
Locatetheverticaladjusteron
eachheadlamp.UsingaPhillips#2
screwdriver,turntheadjustereither
clockwise(toadjustdown)or
counterclockwise(toadjustup).
5.
Closethehoodandturnoffthe
lamps.
HORIZONTALAIMISNOT
REQUIREDFORTHISVEHICLE
ANDISNON-ADJUSTABLE.
