Driver Controls
Thevehiclebrakeswillbeautomaticallyappliedtoslowthevehicleto
maintainasafedistancebetweenthevehicleinfront.Themaximum
brakingwhichisappliedbytheACCsystemislimitedandcanbe
overriddenbythedriverapplyingthebrakes.
IftheACCsystempredictsthatits
maximumbrakinglevelwillnotbe
sufficient,anaudiblewarningwill
soundwhiletheACCcontinuesto
brake.Thisisaccompaniedbythe
heads-updisplay;aredwarningbar
illuminatingonthewindshield.Thedrivershouldtakeimmediateaction.
Note:Thebrakesmayemitasoundwhentheyarebeingmodulatedby
theadaptivecruisecontrolsystem.
WARNING:Adaptivecruisecontrolonlywarnsofvehicles
detectedbytheradarsensor.Insomecasestheremaybeno
warningorthewarningmaybedelayed.Thedrivershouldalways
applythebrakeswhennecessary.Failingtodosomayresultina
