Disengagingadaptivecruisecontrol
Pressthebrakepedaltodisengagetheadaptivecruisecontrol.CRUISE
CANCELLEDwillbedisplayedinthemessagecenter.
Disengagingtheadaptivecruisecontrolwillnoteraseyourpreviousset
speed.
Overridingadaptivecruisecontrol
WARNING:WheneverthedriverisoverridingtheACCby
pressingtheacceleratorpedal,theACCwillnotautomatically
applythebrakestomaintainseparationfromanyvehicleahead.
Thesetspeedandgapdistancecanbeoverriddenbypressingthe
acceleratorpedal.
WhenthedriverisoverridingACC,thegreen
cruiseindicatorlight
isilluminated,andCRUISEOVERRIDEisdisplayedinthemessage
center.Whentheacceleratorisreleased,theACCfunctionwilloperate
againandvehiclespeedwilldecreasetothesetspeed,oralowerspeed
iffollowingaslowervehicle.
Changingthesetspeed
Therearethreewaystochangethe
setspeed:

Accelerateorbraketothe
desiredspeedandpressand
releasetheSET+orSET–
control
•
Increaseordecreasethespeedby
holdingeithertheSET+orSET
–
control,untilthedesiredset
speedisshownonthemessage
center.Thevehiclespeedwillgraduallychangetotheselectedspeed.
Increaseordecreasethespeedinincrementsof1mph(2km/h)by
brieflypressingtheSET+orSET–control.

TheACCmayapplythebrakestoslowthevehicledowntothenewset
speed.Thesetspeedwilldisplaycontinuouslyinthemessagecenter
whileACCisactive.
