badly worn, cut or damaged, or if the
pressures are incorrect.
Incorrectlyinflated tyres wear rapidly and
seriously affect the vehicle’s safety and road
handling characteristics.

depthreachestheminimumpermittedby
legislation.
Caringforyourtyres
Alwaysdrivewithconsiderationforthe
conditionofthetyresandfrequentlyinspect
thetreadandsidewallsforsignsofdistortion
ordamage(inparticular,lookforlumps,cuts
andbulges).
Treaddepthmustbecheckedregularly(at
everymaintenanceservice,ormore
frequently).Alwaysreplaceatyrebeforethe
treadreachesaremainingdepthof1.6mm
Tyrepressures
Tyrepressuresshouldbecheckedatleast
onceaweekwithnormalroaduse,butshould
becheckedDAILYifthevehicleisused
off-road.
