WARNING
Top-upwitha50%mixtureofanti-freezeand
watersothatthesurfaceofthecoolantislevel
withtheseamonthesideofthetank.Ensure
thecapistightenedfullyaftertop-upis
completed.
The coolant level in the reservoir should be
checked at least weekly (more frequently in
high mileage or arduous operating
conditions). Always check the level WHEN
THESYSTEMIS COLD.
DONOToverfill.Thismayresultindamageto
theradiator.
Ifthelevelhasfallenappreciably,suspect
leakageoroverheatingandarrangeforyour
dealertoexamineyourvehicle.
Never run the engine without coolant.
NEVER remove the filler cap or radiator filler
plug when the engine is hot - escaping
steam or scalding water could cause serious
injury.
NOTE: On V8 models, in addition to checking
the levelon the tank, the radiator may need
topping-up - consult the procedure on the
following page.
Unscrewthe filler cap slowly, allowing the
pressure to escape before removing
completely.
