the ignition and electrical systems.
Theinternaloperatingpartsofthedistributor
areprotectedbyaplasticinsulatingcover(1)
andarepre-setduringmanufacture-theydo
notrequiremaintenance.

Cleantheoutersurfacesofthedistributor
captoremovedirtorgrease.
WARNING
•
Unclipthecapandcheckitforcracks.
Cleantheinsideofthecapwithadry,lint
freecloth.
DONOTremove  or tamper with the plastic
insulating cover.

Removetherotorarmandcheckitfor
wear-replaceifnecessary.
Applyaspotofcleanengineoiltothetop
oftherotorspindle(2).
Fittherotorarmanddistributorcap,
ensuringthattheyareproperlylocated.
Securethedistributorcapwiththetwo
clips.
