tests:
Regularlyinspectthebeltwebbingforsignsof
wear,payingparticularattentiontothefixing
pointsandadjusters.Alwaysreplaceaseat
beltthathaswithstoodthestrainofanimpact
orshowssignsoffraying.

Withtheseatbeltfastened,givethe
webbingnearthebuckleaquickupward
pull.Thebucklemustremainsecurely
locked.
DONOTbleachordyethewebbing.Cleanthe
webbingusingwarmwaterandnon-detergent
soaponly-allowtodrynaturallyandDONOT
retractthebeltuntilcompletelydry.
Withtheseatbeltunfastened,unreelthe
webbingtothelimitofitstravel.Check
thatunreelingisfreefromsnatchesand
snags.
Withthewebbinghalfunreeled,holdthe
tongueplateandgiveitaquickforward
pull.Thesafetymechanismmustlock
automaticallyandpreventanyfurther
unreeling.
