Afterwinching
Winchsafety
Whilstwearingthick,protectivegloves,clean
andlubricatethecablewitharecommended
cablelubricant.Forfurtherinformation,
consultyourLandRoverdealer.
WARNING
If used incorrectly, winches can be
extremely dangerous.
ALWAYS follow the manufacturer’s
operating instructions carefully.
WARNING
NEVER allow a cable to kink, coil or overlap.
NEVER stand near, or astride a winching
cable whilst it is under tension.
ALWAYS wear protective gloves when
handling winching cables.
NOTE: If a capstan winch is used, ensure the
rope is cleaned and dried before stowing.
