Fusesaresimplecircuitbreakerswhich
protectelectricalequipmentbypreventingthe
electricalcircuitsfrombeingoverloaded.
Fusesarecolourcodedtohelpidentifytheir
amperage,asfollows:

Alwaysremovethestarterkeyandswitchoff
theaffectedcircuitbeforeremovingafuse.

Pressthefuseextractor(locatedontheinside
ofthemainfuseboxcover)ontotheheadof
thefuseandpulltoremove.Fitanewfuseof
thesamerating.Ifthereplacementfusefails
immediately,contactyourlocalLandRover
dealerandhavethecircuitchecked.
Themainfuseboxisfittedinthecentreofthe
dashboard,infrontofthemaingearlever.
Removethecoverbyreleasingthefixing
screws.
WARNING
Alabelinthefuseboxcovershowsthe
circuitsprotected,thefuseratingsandtheir
locations.Theyarealsolistedonthefollowing
page.
Fit only replacement fuses of the same
rating and type. Always rectify the cause of
a failure before replacing a fuse.  Seek
qualified assistance  if necessary.
