Slackenoffthedrainplug(5)untilpure
dieselisemitted,thenre-tighten.
NOTE: The fuel sedimenter should be drained
before removal; this process is covered in
’Owner maintenance’.

Ifnecessary,primethesystem.
Connectthebatterynegativelead.
Thefuelsedimenterismountedonthe
chassisrearsidemember,neartherear
wheel.
Starttheengineandcheckthesedimenter
forleaks.

Turnthestarterswitchtoposition’0’and
disconnectthebatterynegativelead.
•
Disconnectthefuelinletpipefromthe
sedimenterandraisethepipeabovethe
levelofthefueltank.Thepipemustbe
keptatthisleveltopreventthetankfrom
draining.
•

Whilstsupportingthesedimenterbowl
(1),
(2)
unscrewtheboltonthetopoftheunit
andthenremovethebowl.
Removethesedimenterelement(3)and
cleanallpartswithkerosene.
