propellorshafttothefrontaxleand
repositiontheshafttopreventitfrom
foulingtheundertrayduringremoval.

Removethetwobolts(2)securingthe
undertraytothefrontcrossmember.
Removethetwonuts(3)securingthe
undertraytothebumpstopfrontfixing
bolts,oneithersideofthevehicle.
•
•
Removethetwobolts(4)securingthe
frontandrearundertraytogether.
Lowertheundertrayuntilitclearsthe
steeringboxandpullrearwardsoverthe
axletoremove.
Refittingtheundertrayisthereverseofthe
removalprocedure,buttakecaretoensure
thattheflangesoftheundertrayareproperly
locatedintherearundertray.Tightenthebolts
(2,
(10lbf/ft).
3&4)toatorqueratingof14Nm
Tightentheboltssecuringthe
propellershafttothefrontaxletoatorque
ratingof47Nm(35lbf/ft).
Undertrayremoval
Front section:
Thefrontundertray(1)canberemovedto
gainaccesstotheengineoilfilter.

Raisethevehicleonarampandpositiona
suitablesupportunderthechassisfront
crossmember.
•
Lowertherampslightlytoimprove
clearancebetweentheaxleandthe
undertray.
