Ifthehandsetislostorfailstooperate,engine
immobilisationcanbeoverriddenbyusingthe
starterkeytoenterthefourdigitemergency
keyaccesscode(thiscodeisrecordedonthe
SecurityInformationcard).Theprocedurefor
enteringthecodeisdescribedbelow.

Openthedriver’sdoor(toenterthefirst
digit)andthenclosethedooragain.
Turnthestarterswitchtoposition’II’and

Beforeenteringthecode,notethefollowing:

Ifyourhandsetislostorinoperative,itis
impossibletodisarmthealarm.Assoonas
thedoorisopened,thealarmwillsound
(continuouslyforuptothree30second
periods),andcontinuewhilethecodeisbeing
entered.Removethehandsetfromthekey
ringandkeepthehandsetwellawayfromthe
starterswitchwhenenteringthecode.

digit)andthenclosethedooragain.
Turnthestarterswitchtoposition’II’and

entertheTHIRDdigitofthecode.
7.Openthedriver’sdoor(toenterthethird
digit)andthenclosethedooragain.

Turnthestarterswitchtoposition’II’and

entertheFOURTHdigitofthecode.
9.
Finally,OPENandCLOSEthedriver’sdoor.
Ifthecodehasbeenenteredcorrectly,the
anti-theftindicatorlightwillextinguishandthe
enginecanbestarted.

Withthedriver’sdoorclosed,insertthekey
intothestarterswitch,turntoposition’II’and
holdinthispositionfor5seconds.Then
switchoff,andopenandclosethedriver’s
door.
