Ifthewaterwasparticularlymuddy,
removeanyblockages(mudandleaves)
fromtheradiatortoreducetheriskof
overheating.

Fixaplasticsheetinfrontoftheradiator
grilletopreventwaterfromsoakingthe
engineandmudfromblockingthe
radiator.
Ifdeepwaterisregularlynegotiated,check
transmissionoilsforsignsofwater

Fitadrainplugtotheflywheelhousing
anddieselenginetimingcover-Tdi
enginesonly(see’Ownermaintenance’).
