located in both the instru ment panel and floor
outlets.

Recircula tion — Air Condit ioning
Recircu lated interior air is cooled and sent
throu gh the instru ment panel vents. Upon
initial start up of the vehicle in very hot or
hu mid weather, open wind ows and put in
outsid e air modes to flush hot/ hu mid air out. Then
turn on the Recircu lation mode to cool the vehicle
interior rap idly. The Recircu lation mode can also be
used to tem porarily block out any outsid e odors,
smoke, or dust.
• PanelAir is directed throu gh the outlets in the instru -
ment panel. These outlets can be adjusted to
direct air flow.
•
Bi-Level
Air is directed throu gh the instru ment panel
and floor outlets.
NOTE: There is a difference in tem peratu re betw een the
upper and lower outlets for added comfort. The warm er
air goes to the floor outlets. This featu re gives improved
comfort during sunny but cool cond itions.
NOTE: Continu ous use of the Recircu lation mode may
make the insid e air stu ffy and und er mild, hu mid cond i-
tions cause wind ows to fog. Use of this mode for longer
than 15 minu tes is not recom mend ed.
