Route the tether strap to provid e the most direct path
for the strap betw een the anchor and the child seat. If
you r vehicle is equ ipped with adjustable rear head
restraints, raise the head restraint and , where possible,
rou te the tether strap und er the head restraint and
betw een the two posts. If not possible, lower the head
restraint and pass the tether strap arou nd the outboard
side of the head restraint.

Attach the tether strap hook (A) of the child restraint
to the anchor (B) and rem ove slack in the tether strap
accord ing to the child restraint manu factu rer’s instru c-
tions.

Rotate the cover over the anchor directly behind the
seat where you are placing the child restraint.
