Windshield Wiper Blades
Windshield Washers
Clean the rubber edges of the wiper blad es and the
wind shield period ically with a sponge or soft cloth and a
mild non abrasive cleaner. This will rem ove accumula-
tions of salt or road film.
The fluid reservoir in the engine compartm ent shou ld be
checked for fluid level at regu lar intervals. Fill the
reservoir with wind shield antifreeze (not rad iator anti-
freeze) rated not to freeze at -25°F (-31°C). Operate the
system for a few second s to flush out the resid ual water.
Operation of the wipers on dry glass for long period s
may cause deterioration of the wiper blad es. Alw ays use
washer fluid when using the wipers to rem ove salt or dirt
from a dry wind shield . Avoid using the wiper blad es to
rem ove frost or ice from the wind shield . Keep the blad e
rubber out of contact with petroleu m prod ucts such as
engine oil, gasoline, etc.

Lift the wiper arm away from the glass.
Push the release tab and slide the wiper blad e assem -
bly away from the wiper arm . Gently place the wiper
arm on the wind shield .

Install the new blad e assem bly onto the wiper arm tip
until it locks in place.
