Choose one of the three Universal Transceiver buttons
WARN ING!
to program . Place the hand held controller one to three
inches from the Universal Transceiver while keep ing its
ind icator light in view.
Vehicle exhaust contain s carb on monoxid e, a danger-
ous gas. Do not run the veh icle’s exhaust while
train ing the tran sceiver. Exhaust gas can cause seri-
ous injury or death .
WARN ING!
Your motorized door or gate will open and close
while you are train ing the Universal Transceiver. Do
not train the tran sceiver if peop le or pets are in the
path of the door or gate. A movin g door or gate can
cause seriou s injury or death to peop le and pets or
damage to objects.

Using both hand s, press the hand held transm itter
button and the desired Universal Transceiver button. Do
not release the buttons until step 5 has been completed .

Erase the factory test codes by pressing the two
outsid e buttons. Release the buttons when the light in the
Universal Transceiver begins to flash (abou t 20 second s).
NOTE: Some entry gates and garage door openers may
requ ire you to rep lace step 4 with the proced ures listed
und er Canad ian Program ming.
NOTE: Step 2 does not have to be follow ed to program
additional hand held transm itters.
