When  driving  on  wet or  slushy  road s, it is possible  for  a
wedge  of  water   to build   up  betw een  the tire  and   road
surface.  This  is  hyd rop laning and   may  cause  partial  or

Acceleration
Rapid  acceleration   on  snow  covered , wet,  or  other  slip-
pery  surfaces  may  cause  the  front  wheels  to  pull  errati-

there  is a difference in  the surface  traction  und er the front
(driving)  wheels,   particu larly  with  high  output  engines.

the   fron t  wheels.    You  could    lose  control    of  the
veh icle  and   possib ly  have   an  accid ent.   Accelerate
slow ly and   carefu lly  whenever   there  is  lik ely to  be
poor  traction   (ice, snow,  wet,  mud,  loose  san d,  etc.).
