Turn Signals
If the head lights are turned off before the ignition, they
will turn off in the norm al manner.
Move the turn signal lever up or down and the arrow s in
the instru ment cluster flash to show prop er operation of
the front and rear turn signal lights. You can signal a lane
change by moving the lever partially up or down.
WINDSHIELD WIPERS AND WASHERS
The wipers and washers are operated by a switch in the
right side control lever. Turn the end of the control lever 3
to select the desired wiper speed .
Headlight Beam Select Switch
Pull the turn signal lever tow ard s you to switch the
head lights to HIGH beam . Pull the turn signal lever a
second time to switch the head lights to LOW beam .
Passing Light
You can signal another vehicle with you r head lights by
lightly pulling the turn signal lever tow ard the steering
wheel. This will cause the head lights to turn on at high
beam and rem ain on until the lever is released .
Headlight Time Delay
This featu re provid es the safety of head light illumination
for abou t 90 second s when leaving you r vehicle in an
unlighted area.
NOTE:
Alw ays rem ove any build-up of snow that
prevents the wind shield wiper blad es from retu rning to
the OFF position. If the wind shield wiper switch is
turned OFF and the blad es cannot retu rn to the OFF
position, damage to the wiper motor may occur.
To activate the delay, turn off the ignition while the
head lights are still on. Then turn off the head lights. The
delay interval begins when the ignition is turned off.
