head lights within 45 second s. The 90 second delay inter-
val begins when head light switch is turned off. If the
head lights or park lights are turned back on or the
ignition switch is turned on, the delay will be cancelled .
MULTIFUNCTION LEVER
Turn Signals
Move the Multifunction Lever up or down and the
arrow s on each side of the base instru ment cluster or
Inform ation Center flash to ind icate prop er operation of
the front and rear turn signal lights. You can signal a lane
change by moving the lever partially up or down.
If the head lights are turned off before the ignition, they
will turn off in the norm al manner.
NOTE: The lights must be turned off within 45 second s
of turning the ignition off to activate this featu re
If either ind icator flashes at a rap id rate, check for a
defective outsid e turn signal light bulb. If one of the
ind icators fails to light when the lever is moved , it would
suggest that the ind icator light is defective.
Front Fog Lights — If Equipped
To activate the front fog lights, turn on the park
lights or the low beam head lights and pull out on
the head light switch control knob. An ind icator in
the head light switch show s that the front fog lights are
on. Pressing the head light switch control knob in will
turn the front fog lights off.
