recircu lation   mode   to  rap idly   cool  the   insid e  of  the
vehicle.   The  recircu lation   mode   can   also  be  used   to
tem porarily  block  out  outsid e odors,  smoke,  and  dust.
A/C Recircu  lation  Program  ming
The  recircu lation  control   is  program med   to  cancel  the
recircu lation  mode  when  the  ignition  key  is turned   OFF
and  will reset  to outsid  e air mode  when  the  ignition  key
is turned   ON.  The  frequ ent use  of  outsid e air  will  help
keep  odors  from  building  up  within  the  air  cond itioner-
heater  hou sing.  It is recom mend ed  that the  recircu lation
mode  be  used  as  little  as  possible,  especially   in  hu mid
climates.
NOTE:
When  the ignition   switch  is turned  OFF, the  recircu la-
tion  featu re will  be cancelled .

In  cold  weather,  use  of  the  Recircu lation  mode  may
lead  to  excessive  wind ow  fogging.  The  Recircu lation
mode  is not  allow ed in the  Mix and  Defrost  modes  to
improve    wind ow   clearing   operation.    Recircu lation
will   be  disabled   autom  atically   if  these   modes   are
selected .
For  hot and   dry  climates,  or  peop le who  are  allergic  to
pollen  and   find  frequ ent  use  of the  recircu lation  mode
necessary,  the recircu lation  mode  can  be program  med to
not autom  atically  reset to  the outsid e mode  by  using  the
follow ing proced ures:
If the  recircu lation button   is pressed   while  in the  Mix
or Defrost  mode,  the ind icator light  in the recircu lation
button  will flash  3 times ind icating  that recircu lation  is
not  allow ed.
Turn  the  ignition  switch  to the  OFF position.
•  Set the  mode  control  to “PANEL”.
Dep ress and  hold  in  the “Rear  Wipe/  Wash” button.
