All vehicle wheels and tires must be the sam e size and

accurate signals for the computer.

Anti-lock system (ABS) cannot preven t the natu -
ral law s of physics from actin g on the veh icle, nor
can it increase brak ing or steerin g efficien cy be-
yon d that afford ed by the condition of the veh icle
brak es and tires or the traction afford ed.
POWER STEERING
The stand ard power steering system will give you good
vehicle resp onse and increased ease of maneu verability
in tight spaces. The system will provid e mechanical
steering capability if power assist is lost.
If for som e reason, the power assist is interru pted , it will 5
still be possible to steer you r vehicle. Und er these cond i-
tions you will observe a substantial increase in steering
effort, especially at very low vehicle speed s and during
parking maneu vers.
The ABS cannot preven t accid ents, including
those resu ltin g from excessive speed in turns,
follow ing anoth er veh icle too closely, or hydro-
plan ing. Only a safe, atten tive, and skillfu l driver
can preven t accid ents.
The capabilities of an ABS equipped veh icle must
never be exploited in a reck less or dangerou s
manner which could jeop ard ize the user’s safety
or the safety of oth ers.
NOTE: Increased noise levels at the end of the steering
wheel travel are consid ered norm al and does not ind icate
that there is a problem with the power steering system .
