UNDERSTANDING YOUR INSTRUMENT PANEL
Defrost modes are selected . This is done to assist in
drying the air and it will help in keep ing the wind ows
from fogging.

A/ C cond enser for an accumulation of dirt or insects.
The A/ C cond enser is located in front of the rad iator.
The A/ C air filter is located und er the instru ment
panel on the passenger side.
Manual Air Conditioning Operation
To turn on the air cond itioning, set the front
blow er control to any position excep t O (OFF) and
press the A/ C button which is located next to the
recircu lation button. An ind icator light on the A/ C
button show s that the air cond itioning is on.

Cool dehu midified air comes throu gh the outlets selected
by the Mod e Control. To turn off the air cond itioning,
press the A/ C button a second time. The ind icator light
will turn off.
Economy Mode
If econom y mode is desired , press the A/ C button to turn
off the ind icator light, and the A/ C compressor. Move the
tem peratu re control lever to the desired tem peratu re.
NOTE:
Recircu lation Con trol

The compressor will not engage until the engine has
been running for a few second s.
Press the recircu lation button to recircu late the
air insid e the vehicle. This is located next to the
A/ C button. An ind icator light on the button
show s that air is being recircu lated . Use the
